Flatness Gauge

General Description

Flatness Gauge measures surface shape information of rolling product produced in rolling mill. Flatness Gauge measures surface shape by ON-LINE non-contact after FM/RM, product inspection line, before & after product leveler and does usage as quality decision element and shape control between amount of work by purpose.

This system comprises a laser-generating module installed on the upper part of pass-line, a CCD camera module, and a processor for calculating elongation rate and measuring shape, which is used to get a correct shape against lifting, tilting and shifting by continuous 3-D measurement, to measure the height, wave length, waveness, C-curve, steepness and to calculate the elongation and to control output of shape controller and leveler.
